Nursery
Our Nursery is staffed with loving volunteers during each of the Sunday services to provide safe, individualized care for the youngest where parents can feel comfortable leaving their child to join in the regular church service. All nursery supervisors and volunteers have been screened and approved to care for the children.
Toddlers Church
Toddler Church meets in the room labeled Christman Hall on Sunday mornings. The curriculum engages the children in Bible truths through touching, hearing, seeing, doing, and moving. Each Sunday, the children sing praises to God, share their praises and prayer requests, and pray. You can expect that your children will hear a Bible lesson and a hands on interactive help that will reinforce the story. They will also play games, and have a snack time.
Jr. Church
Children in Kindergarten through 6th grade, our Junior Church program is designed to teach that God’s Word is true, important and relevant at every age. It is our prayer that the children will absorb these truths and call upon them as they live out their daily lives. Classes are staffed with teachers who are eager to be used of God to display His loving care as they develop relationships with the children. All grade school classes are staffed by teachers who have been screened and approved to teach the children.
Men’s Ministry
Fellowship and accountability among men is an act of integrity. Accountability is designed to protect, encourage, and develop men of all ages. For all men who enjoy a great breakfast, fellowship, encouraging speakers, and a time of prayer. We meet when able throughout the year as men to solidify the calling to which we were called. Men’s retreat is one of the highlights of our year, typically in early October.
J.O.Y Just Older Youth
Whether retired, just plain tired, or active as ever, the J.O.Y. group provides refreshment, ministry, and times of valuable interaction. Activities are planned with individuals in mind that have more flexible schedules (retired), but anyone is welcome to join them in their events.
College and Career
Life can get complicated once you cross that nebulous threshold into adulthood. There are complicated decisions. Bigger stakes. Serious relationships. And a whole lot more decisions. The young adult group of our church provides a welcoming atmosphere for college and early-career aged young people.
Music Ministry
God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Others are involved in the choir. Still others lead our Worship Service. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.
Ushers
The usher team at our church fills an important role. They are involved in directing attendees to their seats, ensuring the safety of the building during services, guiding traffic, helping visitors, answering questions, and providing direction. The usher team is a servant-hearted group of men whose ministry is integral to church life.
Greeters
Being a Greeter is such an important ministry for our church. We want our visitors to feel the welcoming spirit of our church when they enter our doors and volunteers for our greeting team provide this. Your smiling face and warm handshake will help them know this a place where the love of God is shown.
Sound Room
Our Sound room technicians ensure that all the audio and projection systems are running properly for our services. Technicians arrive early and stay late, ensuring that all equipment is set up properly and taken down when not being used.
Media & Technology
Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. All sermons are uploaded to our church YouTube channel: Vermontville Bible Church
Meeting with Pastor
Christians struggle with day to day life, just like anyone else. Problems at work, conflicts with family and friends, and marriages can be difficult to maintain. Misunderstanding, confusion, resentment, and anger can flare up in any relationship. Our Pastor offers a listening ear to all who are in need. Their role in listening, understanding, helping, and encouraging, by God’s grace, has saved marriages, and repaired relationships.
Prayer Chain
Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. We have an active Prayer Chain via telephone and Emails. Throughout the week, if a special prayer request is submitted by a church member, we forward this information to all on our Prayer Chain List and ask for prayer. Each Wednesday, the church comes together for a special time of prayer meeting and Bible study.
Church Library
The purpose of the Church Library is to serve the Vermontville Bible Church congregation with inspirational reading, worship resources, teaching resources, and any other printed matter or media which would enrich the spiritual and intellectual lives of our members and fulfill the program ministries of the Church.
