Senior Pastor Joe Benedict – Pastor Joe grew up in the Vermontville area. His wife Brittany grew up in the Nashville area. They were married in the summer of 2011. Pastor Joe graduated from Frontier School of the Bible with a major in Pastoral Ministries and Biblical Studies. He has been pastoring at Vermontville Bible Church since the summer of 2013. In December of 2016 He was called to be the Senior Pastor. Joe has a heart for encouraging individuals to being true to the life that God has called them to live with all their strengths and weaknesses. He has a desire that the clear Gospel be preserved, which is the message of trusting that, “Jesus died for our sins and rose from the dead.” Joe and Brittany welcomed four children into their family biologically, they welcomed two more into their family through foster care and adoption, and an additional daughter through private adoption. Life is an adventure and full of purpose. Joe and Brittany seek adventure and purpose in everything that they pursue, in order that their lives would be used well for God’s glory.
Assistant Pastor David –Pastor David and his wife Allie grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, IL. David served both in Justice, IL (2015-2018) and Cody, Wy (2018-2024) as Youth Pastor before being hired as Assistant Pastor of Vermontville Bible Church in 2024. He graduated from Frontier School of the Bible with a degree in Biblical Studies with a youth and pastoral emphasis in 2014. David desires for everyone to know Jesus as their savior and to let their faith in Jesus impact every aspect of their life. David and Allie have their daughter, Carter Kay and their son, Bowen who make life fun and full of laughs! It is a joy to serve the Lord together here in Vermontville, MI!
